A trip around one of the many dams and its back to Doolhof for Wine Estate to round off a great stage 1.
Start time 12:32pm
Day 2
The day with all the single track and a saw tooth profile will see the bronze riders put their new-found skills to the test.
Leaving Doolhof Eine Estate in a clockwise direction, we tackle some of the Welvenpas that the Gold riders took on the day before. With your newfound skills get ready to tackle the switchbacks and descents that make the Wild Boar Trails so famous.
Once back at the finish line its time to relax as you are a Weekend Warrior!
Silver Route
Day 1
Heading out the farm in the same direction as the Gold riders on Day 1, it’s going to be a solid climb for the riders as they make their way up to the highest point. Stock up at the Dville waterpoint and make your way down the Wild Boar flow trails all the way into the finish line.
Start time 12:30 pm
Day 2
Heading out in a similar direction for Day 2 than you did on Day 1, this time taking on the lower foothills around the Welvenpas mountains.
Enjoy some freshly cut trails that the Wild Boar team has been working on throughout the winter and get ready to cross the finish line in style!
Start time 8:00 am
Gold Route
Day 1
Heading out of Doolhof Wine Estate its a gravel road out of the estate before we head straight into the Wild Boar trails.
The climbing starts early and leads into the first waterpoint run-up by D’Ville Cycles. Sweeping trails take riders through the Bosmans Winery and past Welbedacht for the furthest end of the circuit.
Riders then begin the long climb home and stop over at the last Red Cherry Events Waterpoint along your journey. Fast-flowing single tracks then take you home to round off the opening day.
Start time 12:30 pm
Day 2
Heading out in the same direction as Day 1, we take on the left-hand side again towards Welbedacht. We then cross back over and venture towards Bainsklloof Pass and venture to the Welvenpas trails.
Some tough climbing towards the middle takes riders to the highest part of the event. Before a long run downhill and all the way back to the finish line at Doolhof Wine Farm.
