Why Grabouw?
Ride the idyllic trails through Oak Valley vineyards, the Apple orchards of Tru-Cape and along the Eikenhoff dam. New additions to the already famous trails, will be unveiled, with challenging but enjoyable features for riders of all skill and ability levels.
Known for an incredible network of singletrack. All Weekend Warriors can expect unbelievable vistas and fully stocked waterholes throughout the weekend.
Weekend Warrior: Grabouw, grown by Tru-Cape is a fund-raising initiative for the Hoërskool Grabouw High School. Monies raised will go towards a new classroom for the Grade 4 learners. Stay tuned for updates on the planned project.
Choose between 10 km, 28 km, and 44 km routes on offer and join the Weekend Warrior series.

World-class trails
Ride some of the best trails in the cape, as well as experience some newly built sections, built specifically for the event.
Clean Ablutions
As part of the entry. All Weekend Passes will have access to showers and toilets to freshen up in.
A camping spot / your own 3-man tent.
Book a tent from us and enjoy 1 night of camping on the Elgin Grabouw field. Or bring your own tent and set that up next to your vehicle in the grass car park.
Waterpoints for each route
Be sure to check out the route section to learn where exactly each water point will be, over the 2 stages of this family-styled stage race.
Top Class finishers medal
Remember your experience with a high quality finishers medal for all finishers
Chill Zone and beer garden
Relax and refresh after your race in the beer garden located just a stone’s throw from the finish.
E-Bike charging available
Join on an E-Bike and start ahead of the main race. With charging stations available in the Chill Zone, you will have plenty of time to recharge your batteries between stages.

You wont go hungry over the weekend as we have plenty of food options available, on sale, throughout the event.

Bronze Route
Day 1
Heading out of Grabouw country club, we make our way on some stunning new trails in the Eikenhoff side of the dam, one Endurade waterpoint and you are home dry!.
Start time 12:32pm
Day 2
Day 2 sees riders take on the Eikenhof dam trails in a anti- clockwise direction. With a waterpoint at the 6km mark, you can expect an abundance of flowy single tracks as we traverse the banks of the Eikenhof dam.
Silver Route
Day 1
It’s fast climbing all the way up to the top of the famous A-Z single track. Stock up at the Endurade waterholes as the Silver route will create lasting memories for all

Day 2
Heading out of Grabouw country club, we tackle the iconic sections like Seans Cut along with some iconic new flowing tracks through Apple garth farms. thrilling single track with Willies descent at the end to round off a solid stage 2.

Gold Route
Day 1
It’s fast climbing all the way up to the top of the famous A-Z single track. Ground is made with some fast flowing tracks through Applegarth farms as riders return to the Elgin Grabouw Country Club.

Day 2
For the First time ever, the Weekend Warrior Grabouw grown by Tru-Cape will be heading into Oak Valley and linking up private farms that are usually off limits. Take on sections like Vissies, Wonderland and Fountain of Youth all while completing this 2 day stage race.

Registration for the event will take place in the Elgin Grabouw Country Club’s hall – once inside the country club grounds, follow the directional signage for parking and registration.
