Why Grabouw?
The Otto1890 Weekend Warrior series is growing from strength to strength, and 2026 is set to be a defining year. Join us for breathtaking trails through the iconic Oak Valley vineyards, Tru-Cape apple orchards, and along the Eikenhoff Dam. This year, we aren’t just riding the trails; we are building them.
Known for an incredible network of singletrack. All Weekend Warriors can expect unbelievable vistas and fully stocked waterholes throughout the weekend.
The Red Cherry Events Connection Trail: We are proud to unveil a brand-new piece of singletrack! This crucial bridge connects Fruitways to Oak Valley, ensuring a seamless passage for riders for years to come.
Upgraded Village Experience: We’ve taken the race village to the next level with improved rider hospitality and a completely revamped kiddies area to keep the future warriors entertained.
The Heart of the Event: Organized by Red Cherry Events, this day serves as a vital fundraiser for Hoërskool Grabouw. Your entry supports the building of a new classroom for Grade 4 students.
The Details: Choose your challenge – 10 km, 28 km, or 44 km – and experience a race that is bigger, better, and more comfortable than ever before.

Day 1

We head up into the hills and take on iconic sections like Wesselgat and Wench as we ride up into the clouds, high above the Eikenhoff Dam.
Take it easy on the downs as the terrain can be tricky with loose rocks and sharp corners. Once down, the Cycle Lab waterpoint repeats itself, ensuring riders are well covered along their ride.
